Was in the process of posting this in the performance thread but it got locked on me lol......

This happens to me with these shows, I get so in the moment that I miss things. I always watch the recording back the next day and usually I get a different read on my initial impression.

Hollie, Joshua, Colton were not as bad as I thought they were last night.

Heejun was worse than I realized.

So I am suddenly going from cranky and bored person to thinking last night was a pretty darn good night. The bottom is Deandre. However, I think that Hollie and Heejun are still pretty dang close to that bottom. Hollie may not have been as bad as I thought she was but I still didn't think she was great. I would not be surprised to see Elise in the bottom again, in spite of that epic performance of hers.

I'm looking forward to the results show, the addition of Jimmy and the mentors comments is something I enjoy.

Haha! The Big 80's hair on the Idols in that commerical was pretty funny .

Bad Ford ad -- barely highlighted the idols at all. Screen time seemed to go to Colton and Skylar, and that's pretty much it.

Thought the moving into the mansion was pretty cute. Looking forward to Jimmy's comments. He loved Elise and Phillip, not so much Hollie. I agree with his comments about Hollie. I couldn't figure out what I didn't like about her and he nailed it. She does not connect emotionally with the songs, she is too technical. And America agrees....she is in the bottom three.
