This chick can sang!! Like Randy says lol. Very impressed with her. I hope she goes far. She is my favorite female singer right now.
Ask me to show you poetry in motion, and I will show you a horse.
Hells yeah, she can sing!
"You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling"
OMG her performance of I will Always love you was amazing.
She deserves to go far.
Fantastic voice and she is only 16. I think you just have to be born with a voice like that. I hope she gets the votes and if so, she is the one to beat.
She was freaking crazy amazing. The only performance that brought tears to my eyes. RIP Whitney.

Amazing voice for a 16 year old. I hope she goes far, but since she (and Philip) are my favorites, I suppose she'll make it to about 4th. That's what usually happens with my faves.

I love her voice, too, but I think Jimmy was right on that she needs to endear herself to the audience and not come off as being too haughty. I don't find her to be so, but I've heard rumblings of it other places.
Count your blessings!
That could be Gutmutter. I always tape the show and I usually fast forward through most of the talking. So I haven't really picked up on any attitude from her. However, I do have to stand by my opinion that she won't win. Considering the fact that David Cooke was the only one of my favorites to ever win AI, the odds really aren't in her favor. But then, it's early yet.

Scotty gave us the hand mic as flute and now, Jessica plays it. Did you all notice the finger flutter when she held it in her right hand and went into a warble? (The long sound wave of vibrato.) I really like her voice, but she needs to work on her timing quirks.
From a distance in the auditorium, it wouldn't be noticed all that much, but TV camera closeups have brought that quirk forward as an annoyance to me.
