Was the first guy's name Reed Grimm? I really liked him! I also liked Chase K_____.
The girl Samantha or Jennifer? (her sister was planking while she sang) was good too.

I am really pleasantly surprised. I am so glad they are showing us some good singers instead of the clowns.

Aw. I am sad about the coal miner guy. He had a really nice tone but hit a few clunkers in his audition.

Where has everyone gone? Good show last night.. Lot's of unique talents. I wonder if they'll allow the planking girl to travel to LA, or will they make her plank from home & telepathically transmit her plank?

They both walked out with golden tickets, so I think they are both going.

I was really surprised by the Korean guy who sang first. His 'spacey' demeanor made me sure he'd sing off key and hit clunkers, but I think my jaw actually dropped. Now, he wasn't GREAT, but he was much much better than I expected. Pretty much my favorite of the night.

I missed that planking thing...I saw it but did not know why it was important. The judges apparently didn't mock it, so they had to know what it was. Saying that, sending the sister to Hollywood because she planked for her sister..... that is a tad too much.

I don't like all the "sob stories" - I just want to hear them sing! I really liked Hallie Day, the blonde girl who went last. Wish I didn't know about her troubled past and could just appreciate her voice. Singing "I will survive" was a little over the top. But I still like her anyway!

I was also in shock when the Asian guy opened his mouth and sang so well. I was expecting the worst after his family said they never heard him sing and he told Ryan he had a little tiny fist-sized head... and the judges that they looked like wax figures! LOL! What a fun audition that was.

Really enjoyed this week!
