Call me sappy - I thought it was sweet that she went and hugged her mom.
It has been an uneventful finale, not very exciting at all. It was "fine" - not great, not bad, but I definitely won't remember it. Still debating if I want to vote at all too.

Did anyone else think Jimmy Iovine was trying not to laugh when talking about mothers being the backbone of the country?

Jimmy's comment struck me as a veiled insult to Lauren and to mothers everywhere.

Going to vote so I CAN complain about the outcome! LOL!

Just an observation: The sound technicians on AI need some tutoring...no reason the drums should drown out my Cookie!!!!

Now, here we go!! BEST part of the night!!! My volume can't go high enough!!! Actually the best part of this whole season has been his Don't You Forget About Me each week.

Sure enough... I totally agree with you.

Taking the season as a whole, Scotty deserves to win. But so fat I haven't been able to get in one single vote for Scotty. Busy every time, or else it doesn't go through at all.

Loved Scotty and Lauren tonight. Jennifer and Steven probably just gave Lauren the kiss of death. Scotty fans will be up all night trying to prove them wrong. Breaks my heart that one of them will not get the title. I think both of them will be very successful in their genre. Such sweet kids..........

I'm getting my votes in for Scotty! I think they threw him under the bus. He won those first tow rounds IMHO, Lauren edged him out on the third... but come on! Going out and hugging her mom... tears... of course its a "moment".
