They didn't show much of it, but they sounded good together. They alternated some verses, and sang the choruses together. Completely unrehearsed, of course.

I watched it on local TV. Found out today that one of my students (a 12-year-old girl) was at the Lowe's Foods and got to shake Scotty's hand.

I mean, regardless of whether you are a Scotty fan, you just have to love his hometown visit video. Didn't Garner, NC come off well? Lovely, all-American town. And can you believe the great love for Scotty?

It sure do seem that way, don't it now?

When I see the tiny, dime-sized Scotty headshot on wral.com, at first glance I think it is a young Clay. Same face shape and ears. (I do find Scotty way more appealing and humble than Clay turned out to be -- although IMO he's not quite as good a singer as Clay.)

Now that it's down to Scotty and (ugh) Lauren, I will be throwing all my votes to Scotty.

Well, in my eyes, this will be the most boring finale ever and I love country. This season had such promise at beginning and has become a let down.

Scotty and Lauren's hometown visits made me tear up. So humble, both of them.

Haley thought she had it in the bag, sorry, but she's too cocky for me and needed some humility..guess others in the 95 million votes agree.

Yes, they both seem like really sweet humble kids. But most importantly, they are both very talented.
