I really thought it would be Haley rather than Lauren. I do think that her voice has a very interesting quality and she can do amazing things with said voice, however (and yes, I agree it should be about singing and stage presence...)she has shown a very unappealing attitude a time or two. I've tried to not allow that to really influence the way I have felt about her, but tonight in that split second it was very revealing and not very appealing. She will get a recording contract out of this and I hope she does well. Of course, I hope all these kids make the most out of the opportunities that may come along as a result of this show.
I would prefer to watch a humble, sincere country girl or boy rather than anTune in next week for the Alfred E. Neuman vs. Tammy Faye Baker finale!

I live in rural Kansas, with a barn full of hay bales and all my radios are tuned to country music (except for the satellite radio in my car which is tuned to the blues). Having said that, I do love several styles of music and would have preferred a finale with 2 different genres. But hey ... it's all good!

Great - one more reason for me NOT to watch X Factor!Yes, she was in PCD and also won Dancing With the Stars. She is a judge on the NBC's The Sing Off. She will be one of the hosts for X-Factor.

Me too; I still can't believe some of the talent she outlasted. Nice voice but poor attitude. The shocked and angry look on her face showed that she thought for sure she was in. To be honest, I did too. I never thought there would be an all country final but bring it on. Two humble kids who have a lot to be proud of. They both have great voices but more importantly they are both geniune people. Either one will make a great American Idol. I think Scotty will win but both will be successful. Look at Carrie Underwood. This is going to be a great finale and I am fine with either one winning.

I think Lauren has a beautiful voice, and she has appeared less self-conscious or more relaxed the past couple of weeks, which has made her performances more what they should have been all along. I'm not at all surprised to see her here in F2.
Haley was the one who looked arrogant to me. She actually looked ticked off. She acts like she thinks she is all that and more. She had an attitude with the judges any time they said something she did not agree with.
