I have to say I didn't love that song for Haley. I would have preferred Gold Dust Woman if Iovine wanted her to do Stevie Nicks.

I agree - that would've been a better Fleetwood Mac choice for her. But I don't really get a Stevie Nix vibe from Haley at all.

waywyrd, that would have been a great choice! I still think she did a great job on Rhiannon, though.

Oh, brother. Haley was the best of the second round. PLEASE, judges.

That's what I think. too. Steven thought Lauren won Round 2 (huh?), and the other two chose Scotty. I say Haley and Scotty's performances were both good -- too close to call. Lauren comes in 3rd, just as she did 1st round, IMO.

Jimmy really can pick 'em (songs, that is). Good job!

I loved the floaty gray dress and the wind machine for Haley doing Rhiannon. And she changed it enough that it was def. not karaoke. Wow, Haley is hitting on all cylinders tonight. (News flash: she could WIN!)

So far we've only watched the 1st songs and thought they were all pretty good. I do think it's a bit unfair to have Haley's dad play with her. She may get some sympathy votes for the fall. I liked Lauren's performance. So does this mean Scotty doesn't get the pimp spot yet again?

Scotty...more of the same. I liked him in the beginning but now he bores me. He'll be successful but he no more range.
Lauren. I liked her too but she isn't standing out from everyone else in pop or country. She'll be successful but she needs a true niche.
Hayley. I love her uniqueness. She is my pick to win it. There is no one out that sounds like her. She fell and never missed a note. She's versatile and she and her Dad rocked it!
