History will have to record that the greatest tragedy of this period of social transition was not the strident clamor of the bad people, but the appalling silence of the good people. Martin Luther King, Jr.
I have every sympathy for Haley. I certainly agree that the judges have been unfair to her over the course of this season. It's just that tonight is one of the rare times I agree with the judges.
Maggie: "While she takes care of the men with the guns, why don't you sit down and I'll make you a nice, hot cup of tea?"
Pan Am stewardesses: prepared for anything!
Haley needs to listen to the criticism - she DOES scream and needs to do something about that. And if she plans on being in show biz, she needs to toughen up a bit.

When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
That's not the word I would use. Disgusting is more of what I'm thinking.
Haley doing much better on second song. She has a lovely voice when she's not screaming every other note.
Judges and audience give her Standing O. Judges say it was good that they nailed her earlier because she came back swinging. Needless to say, I agree.

Well done Haley, that is a IDOL MOMENT!

Telegraphing the emotion ahead of time aside, HALEY WAS AMAZING.
Gaga was spot-on with the "Edith Piaf" remark.
I hate it when people say, "I know I was mean, but it's only because I knew you could do better." Ughh.
Haley was better on the second song, but I agree that she tries to insert that growly scream in too often.
Yeah, yeah, Randy... in it to win it. Pick another phrase... this one is worn out.![]()
