    This must be the night for the "songs you don't recognize" categories.

    Lauren has done the best, tonight, so far. I have no idea what she was singing. She was better than both Jacob AND James.

    Why are they doing former Idol's songs? I thought the theme was Now and Then. Songs from the 60's and then one from current charts.

    Lauren sounds great doing country-ish songs. I love her outfit, too.

    Did Randy tell him his voice was bigger than both of the artists on that song? Wasn't Jordin Sparks one of the singers? Kind of a slam against a former AI winner LOL.

    Side note: Somebody actually got paid good money to give Jennifer that head full of frizz. I guess it is actually possible to "ugly up" the beautiful Jennifer Lopez!

    Sheryl Crow's right about one thing. Scotty's got a great career ahead of him. He's grown the most of all the contestants. He's a performer full of confidence of who he is and where he's headed. That song could be on his first CD right there. Gotta give him props.

    I took it to mean simply that the other singers had voices in a lower register. Jacob took a song meant to be lower and screamed it.

    What was this song of Scotty's? I loved it!
