I like my Paul too!
I think he is the first Rock and Roll performance of the night.
You could feel the Roll.
I don't think the kiddos truly understand the Roll.
These three at least selected a ROLL song.
Hayley the SECOND (She just smiles when she should scowl and scowls when she she smile).
Scotty would be THIRD in that Roll.
Pia would be the last but she didn't perform other than walk around.
Perfect Imperfect would be a great album name for Paul's breakout album.
Bottom 3 - hard to pick. Who I think: Stefano, Lauren, Jacob Wh0 I would pick to go: Jacob (Never fear, I'm always wrong).
I loved Jacob! 01 - First time he did it with his amazing, powerful vocals with great restraint and didn't go over the top, wasn't melodramatic, kept his face smooth and was wonderful!Wish people didn't project arrogance onto his remarks, as he's the most humble and genuine and sincere guy!
02 - Haley - can't stomach her utter lack of heart - gee, why don't you keep smiling while talking about your breaking heart, Haley? Not for me.
Everyone else but her totally amazed me, except for Paul and Pia. And Pia can really, really sing!
First time I really was on board with Casey & Lauren - amazing jobs from the two of them.
Now, Lauren was the one woman who sang with real soul and emotion tonight! Terrific!
Stefano did much better, too, though I wasn't happy with the soft, too-high beginning, he then delivered! Love him as a performer and love his singing.
Casey did spectacularly melodic tonight and I agree he should keep playing his upright bass to perform.
James D. shocked me by taking that risk on Rock Night to do something so sweet and emotional. While he doesn't live up to Adam Lambert's standard, he was wonderful and I applaud the risk. Wonderful singing! I really like him.
As for Scotty, who I've never once been into or enjoyed, I have to say he should stick to more Elvis! Wonderful blend of his usual Country and Elvis! His voice was perfect for it!![]()
My bottom three based on tonight's performances are:
Pia
Jacob
Stefano
My bottom three based on vocals are:
Stefano
Jacob
hmmmm.....I can't think of a third one for poor vocals.
I think performance and "favorites" will determine who stays and who goes(as usual).
That being said.
Jacob
Pia
both can exit stage right for me.
I like everyone else for something. I'd keep my Stefano over Jacob anyday! I'd keep Hayley over Pia.
Lauren was great tonight...I dont have her in the bottom three at all. I think it will be Jacob, Haley and Stefano.

Just tuning in. I really wish I could like Jacob. He is the only R&B person left, but I cannot stand his voice, his look, or his antics. It may be time to remove Idol from my DVR line up.![]()
