Paul's voice reminds me of James Blunt ("You're Beautiful," "Goodbye My Lover"). He needs to sing something along those lines that doesn't require a huge and is sort of talk-singing that doesn't require holding notes. I like his voice, but he's not picking the right type of song, or something.

You're right. I couldn't put my finger on it, but James Blunt's voice is closer to Paul's than any of the others mentioned.

Yep, that he is; but seriously in all the seasons of Idol I've never seen as many contestants liked and disliked, loved and despised at the same time as this group.

That is the thing this year. The judges really chose characters... some can identify with them others not. It will be interesting to see if the final winner is marketable...
