I hate to say this about a 16 year old boy but I just do not like his style, choice of music or genre.

I LOVE his voice, and I also love his attitude and stage presence. I agree that I don't think he is going to have any trouble having a career when/if he gets kicked off.

If you turn away from the tv while Scotty is performing, and just listen to his voice as if you're hearing him on the radio, you'd swear he was older and more professional than he is. He sounds like some country star. He is definitely one of the more "seasoned" or trained voices of this season's contestants.

Love Scotty's voice! Love that he sticks to his guns and is staying true to his love for country. Only thing I don't love about Scotty is the way he holds the microphone and his facial expressions. That is the good thing about listening to a cd. You don't have to see their face when hearing the sweet sound of their voice.

I really like Scotty. I think he will do well.

I love country music and many other types too. I do think that the Travis Tritt song would have gone over much better with viewers if they had not messed up the arrangement. I liked the high range part, but they changed the song so much that is was unrecognizable. The song is really beautiful. Their arrangment destroyed the song IMO> Scotty did the best he could with that way.
