I knew he would knock the studio version out of the ballpark. When your voice is that recognizable you have a big jump on the sound-alike divas.
I'm sorry but he sounds like what I imagine a chipmunk would sound like singing. I listened to about 5 bars of his I-tunes song... I find him unbearable.
I have a love/hate relationship with this guy.
Why is he picking these songs? Paul, you could have been so good. I have no idea why he is still on the show. He's been horrible. I guess all the guys are going to make it far though.

Without the herky, jerky movements, he does fit nicely into the Alt. genre. His voice is unique to Idol as far as I remember and it fits in with his genre. I think his performance (voice/movement) would be better appreciated if he found himself a stool and sat.
