Yes on both and there are rumblings about Randy too. Nigel is the producer and I believe he is behind them leaving. I doubt he renewed their contracts given the lower ratings and feedback about them offering little or no constructive criticism. Very lack luster judging panel.

I agree that this show has run its course but they may give it another shot with new judges. Jimmy Iovine is a good choice and two more with experience in the production business instead of singers.

I barely watched these past two seasons and when I did it was with liberal use of FF; never watched in real time.

Way too many auditions and seperate results show needs to go. Group numbers and visiting artists for filler are two of the things I skip. There are more.

I really was annoyed with the lackluster performance of the judges this year after being supportive of Tyler and Jen when they first came on. Randy could follow T and J out the door and nothing would be lost. Of course the show will go on...I don't think it has run its course. Even with the annoying judges, the show was usually first in the rating during the whole season.

I did use my Mute button a lot as I did during the Paula/Simon era. I think when the judges start to feel that the show is about them (as Simon did for too many years) and T and J did this year, the show suffers.
