I forgot about this and haven't been posting my predictions this season, but I've been pretty accurate almost every week in who I thought was leaving. This one may just be wishful thinking.

It was actually impossible to get 0 points this week if you guessed at all, but many of us still guessed the wrong departure, thinking that Haley's recent momentum would carry her past Lauren; we shouldn't have underestimated the country girl!

Still, 4 people did manage it, including a few new or sometimes-absent faces. Congrats to you all! (Oh, and watch this space next year, because if you're that good at this you should play every week! )

Though we seem to have most of our finalists set and much like the show we have someone in first place who we can assume will win, it's not over yet as there are 8 points up for grabs next week! We had some minor movement among the ranks, and those of you near the bottom of the tour need to be on your game, but otherwise our final looks set!

Next week you will be (as Jeff says on Survivor) voting for a winner! The prediction will be for who you believe will be the next American Idol! And don't forget, the shows are a day earlier next week so your guesses need to be a day earlier as well!

Unless Scotty is arrested for something shocking beofre next week, he is going to win.

I saw an interesting news blurb here in the Chicago area... the Bulls game drew more viewers then AI. I wonder if this could have effected the votes for Haley. Not that I think Bulls fans would be watching AI, but I watch both and would have watched the Bulls instead (I had to work though)

I seem to do much better when I don't actually see them perform, plus, this is just wishful thinking. I haven't cared for Scotty all season. Oh, and definitely not a Haley fan either.
