Yup. That's expected. The deadline for making your guesses is usually "before the thread is locked on results night" so I kind of rely on it!

Okay folks, we have a Top 24, and the voting is about to begin! That means that the prediction game is about to begin as well!

As always, every week you're welcome to come here and guess who you think will be in or out that week. Over the course of the season you'll accrue points, and at the end of the season we'll have our own prediction Top 10 tour bus! Good luck! Watch the performance shows and make your guesses by the time the thread closes on results night, and see how well you can predict American Idol's 10th winner!

Our first week is the semifinals. The 12 guys will sing on Tuesday, the 12 girls on Wednesday, and the Top 12 will be announced on Thursday. My understanding is that the top 5 guys and top 5 girls will go in, augmented by the judges' wild card picks. So here's how it'll work for this week: guess which 6 guys and which 6 girls will get in, and get 2 points for each correct guess. Additionally, note which of those will be the wild card picks, and get 2 bonus points per wild card if you're right there, too (you're welcome to go 7/5 if you think the judges will pick two boys or two girls for wild cards). If any rules change I'll say something here.

One guess per person, your first guess is the one that counts, so make sure it's what you want!

It seems to be touch & go right now as to whether or not Casey is going to be able to continue. He has had a transfusion & the men's performances are filmed tonight. They may let him out to p-erform & then send him back to the hospital. Can I change my predictions if he doesn't make it?

Casey Abrams Hospitalized for Stomach Pains But Will Sing : People.com

The show will go on for American Idol contestant Casey Abrams.

The singer, who made season 10's top 24 on Thursday's show, was reportedly hospitalized after suffering severe stomach pains on Wednesday but is now out of the hospital and expected to hit the stage during Friday's taping of the top 12 men's performances, PEOPLE confirms.

"He is performing tonight," a source close to the show tells PEOPLE. "He had some stomach pains but he will perform."

I hope he's okay, I really like him.
