Welcome to the 10th season of American Idol. We have many changes this year. Two new judges, a new band, a mentor every week for the contestants and many, many more changes! Chances are though we’ll see the same old tired no talent auditions. We start off in New York and New Jersey. Smithers, release the hounds!

Aerosmith bills themselves as "America's Greatest Rock and Roll Band". It's their title, like Michael Jackson was "The King of Pop". They have sold 150 million albums - so that's nothing to sneeze at. I don't know if they hold any actual record breaking statistics.

Ah, TopCatDC, just read your post. Marketing! But they are very successful (I like them!). I just wouldn't myself peg them No. 1.

Had he said "one of the greatest" I wouldn't have batted an eye but to say "the greatest" is a little over the top IMO.

I liked Kinsey the 15 year old.

The first (repeat) girl wasn't so hot. Without that initial "I remember YOU!" bit, she would've been rejected.
Ivory Coast chick is deluded.

I saw ST on the "Regis" show; he was articulate and funny. I think I'll like him as a judge!
