Simon's gone, who do you think would be an asset to the judging panel?
I would love to see Brett Michaels do it.
And could we get rid of Kara and go back to 3 judges?
I'd like to see Bret as a judge too.Quote:

I don't think that experiment worked at all.
I voted for Bret Michaels.
He was a judge on Nashville Star (country music AI type show) back in 2005! He gave the contestants good advice after their performances. He was always kind to them (even if they sounded crappy), he would find something positive in their performance to comment on as well as telling them what they needed to improve on. He would not fill the "if I'm being brutally honest with you" Simon role though, Bret is too nice.
Only 9 of us have voted so far and 7 of us are thinking alike. Brett Michaels has the clear lead . . . 77%.
The other two voted to cancel the show.
Let's take it a step farther...Quote:

Bret as judge.
Go back to 3 judges... get rid of Kara and Ellen
Bring Paula back.
While I am sure there were lots of people who thought the "brutally" honest bit that Simon used was just fabulous, I never did , I also vote for a knowledgable yet positive judge. One of the FOX stations ran a reprise of Simon's "best" lines and they were outright nasty. When you think that the balance of power was so in Simon's favor, his comments were overboard. The one that made me cringe was the remark about the weight of Mandisa (?) and she called him on it. I did read that Simon was appalled at some of his comments now that he was heading off of AI, but I am sure that he did not learn anything from that. He totally lacks the filter that most of us have-- to varying degrees --that makes us think twice about our comments. If he thinks it, he says it.Quote:

Nobody. They need to just shut it all down, and premiere X Factor U.S. earlier than planned.Quote:
