She became one of Oprah's favorites. Then she was on Broadway in Oprah's show. Then she missed over 50 performances and went away for a while while she got her vocal cords operated on. Then she had a lame reality show.

I don't like the timbre of Fantasia's voice, but I know several people who think she's the best thing ever from Idol. I can sit through her performance once a year - that's about my limit.
