We rarely watch the show live and use the DVR to enable us to FF through a lot of fluff - and worse. I was doing dishes in the kitchen and my husband was flipping through channels. I thought I heard the opening song to a cheesy 70s sitcom, but was thinking that "I Just Haven't Met You Yet" was a current song. I asked hubby what in the heck was on, and he said it was the AI group number! That may be the worst one I've ever heard. Although it's probably mostly because of the arrangement.
OMG Katelyn with the great voice is gone!
And is often the case if she had sung last night like she is singing now for her exit she would probably still be on the show. Standing and playing the piano last night was a definite mistake. She has so much more fire in her performance tonight.
Oh no! Good-bye to Katelyn. I'm surprised. I see her as being very commercial - very cute and full of personality, consistently good voice, and should have huge appeal to the Taylor Swift crowd (and some old people like me). She's picked strange oldies-type songs.
Too bad Katelyn hadn't been this animated Tues. I think playing the piano killed her performance.
