Thanks, Jermaine. I needed a nap.

"You don't rehearse Mr. T, you just turn him loose."

Do not think that Jermaine can sing at all....He loveth himself enough for all of us.
Better than last week! Drink!
"How do you know the chosen ones? No greater love hath a man than he lay down his life for his friend. Not for millions, not for glory, not for fame... for one person. In the dark. Where no one will ever know or see." - Sebastion, Babylon 5
I liked this song!
I think these kids try too hard to pick some song that they can change up and garner tons of attention (like a few notables in the past). I'm beginning to wonder how many of them really have the talent to just pick a decent song and then sing it really, really well. Is that asking so much?
Jermaine: I'm not feeling him.
"...each affects the other, and the other affects the next, and the world is full of stories, but the stories are all one." - Mitch Albom, one helluva writer
When you throw a rock into a pack of dogs, you know which one you hit by the one that yelps!
Jermaine, no.
I like Jermaine's personality, and I like his voice (okay), but not this jazz-lite arrangement of this song (yuck!).
And he's looking a little PeeWee Herman tonight.
Is it 90 min or 2 hours tonight?
Oh, my gosh! Yeah! That's exactly right!Originally Posted by I'm MEL;3845816;

Simon is right. Jermaine is totally disconnected with the meaning of the song. "What's Going On?" was an anti-war/social-consciousness song. These kids need to take the lyrics seriously and change the arrangement based on the emotional impact of the song, not just based on vocal tricks.
