Tyler Grady steps up with American Woman.

And it's very low key to start with, and then goes rock. I like that. There's a moment of two (or three) of over-reaching that flat out. But interesting.

Simon: Memorable performance, but not for the right reasons. Looks like you went to pretending-to-be-a-rock-star school.
Kara: Get over the 70's. Need to add something original to it.
Randy: That was style over substance. What are you bringing to the game.
Ellen: You have the poses, but you are lacking the charisma. You need to work on the singing and be an original.

Simon may not have spoken of Joe's performance in glowing terms, but I'll take "okay, safe, forgettable" over some of the caterwauling we've heard tonight. My ears were beginning to feel viiolated, so this is an improvement.

Tyler was not good, voice was okay on places but he can't sing high notes. He made a great song boring.

Here's what's goin' on: The judges are tearing down the (few) great guys, because---AS SIMON HAS ADMITTED---they want a GIRL to win.

There's a REASON John Park has had virtually no screen-time so far. ;-)
