They never really showed her singing. I don't think she can hold on until next week.

This is why 90% of the cds I own have been recorded by male artists.
Thought it was AWFUL. Started out with very little emotion and sounded to me like she was singing it in practice for about the first four lines. Too breathy. When she really got going (which is the only thing I can give her credit for), it was ear-splitting.
It was indeed truly awful. She obviously heard the song on Glee a few months ago and thought she could match that performance. And failed bigtime, because she doesn't have 1/10th of Lea Michele's talent.
I actually have been mystified over the past few weeks at the tongue baths she's been getting over her voice. Frankly, she ain't all that.
Of course on top of that, Ellen D doesn't even know what the song's about. Paige screwed it up, but not because the song wasn't happy, but because it wasn't agonized enough. Her performance was just flat. No emotion either way. What is should be is heartbreaking and sad.
