Alex Lambert - my first itunes downloads ever!!!

Finally got my computer to cooperate and install itunes last night and have just downloaded all three of Alex's songs. Thoroughly enjoyed him and hated to see him go, but at least I can still listen to my downloads! Hope this was just a stepping stone and that we get to hear more from him in the future.

Oh yeah. I forgot about the bleeping. I thought it was Tyler who was bleeped at first. But apparently Alex was the one with the potty mouth. Alex has had an interesting run on the show with the bleeping, the awkward cry fest on stage last night, and then the illegal youtube vote pandering with Andrew and Lee. He certainly left with some fans though. I don't expect to see him any time in the future since the judges think he needs a lot more experience. I don't expect they are falling over themselves to help him out. By the time he is "ready," nobody will know who he is. Plus, it is just so early in the show. It is kind of a tough situation to be in. He's just not ready for a record deal and any act of charity at this point would be a waste. So if his "n-word" usage doesn't finally catch up with him, maybe we will hear him again. I don't think his prospects are good.

Even if he gets a contract & that is a huge IF, he'll go largely unnoticed. Bought by only a few.

I completely agree, especially after seeing Tim and Andrew butcher songs. I still like this kid. I thought he sounded great on Ellen
