I wouldn't put too much faith in what you heard because the hundred and whatever "golden ticket" holders are just now arriving in LA for the Hollywood round. Maybe your acquaintance has a good chance of getting through, but they won't have a Top 24 until late next week at the earliest.

Apparantely Wednesday nights show is going to be expanded to 1 1/2 hrs, due to Fox delaying the debut of Mark Burnettes new show. Evidently MB decided he had to reshoot his show because there were some issues with how information got relayed to the contestants or something.

Edit Again: Contestants arrived today (1/9), the competition starts tomorrow (1/10), and the "Green Mile" episode is filmed in 11 days (1/20-ish).
11 days is a long time to wait. But who goes home early (if they go directly home after elimination) will provide plenty of spoilers!
