Haven't really noticed Matt, but he did excellant last night. Can't wait to see more.

Again he did very well and is getting better and better week after week. I think he could be the dark horse to win this whole thing if he continues to do like this. Very soulful voice and is doing smart song choices.

ITA I think he is the dark horse. I have enjoyed him from the beginning and hope that he continues to do well. I loved his performance this week.

ITA. I'm not as invested this season as I was last year (gee, can you tell ) but I think Matt is totally the dark horse. He's going to carve out a name for himself with his soulful sound, awesome piano playing and geniune humility. I think he's going to surprise us.

he's really starting to grow on me, at the beginning i did not care that he was voted out or brought back, but since watching him since i think he's getting better and better

Do you guys think a Dark Horse can exist in AI? It is such a popularity contest that it seems impossible a candidate could "sneak up" on the contenders. It takes millions of votes just to stay in the running. The voting system doesn't give underdogs a chance.

And, there are so many guys, who can tell one from the other?

I think there CAN be a dark horse. As people go home, their votes shift to others. I think at this point that Danny, Adam and Matt will be top 3 guys. Seem like there are a lot of people that don't like Danny and don't get Adam, so that leaves an avenue for Matt.
