Matt is my nieces friend. She goes to school in Kalamazoo where Matt is from and would go see him at the piano bar he was working at. they had a going away party for him and she went. i thought his performance rocked last night

I thought he did a good job last night. I think he may surprise us all and end up being the one to watch out for

I was very impressed with Matt. I think he may be the dark horse of the season.

Other than a short clip of him singing "Georgia", I never saw Matt until he did the Coldplay song. I was underwhelmed at that point, but now I get what all the hype was about. I like him alot, and hope he'll go far.

I think he was really good on tuesday, even though he sometimes sounds a bit whiny. But I really really enjoyed listening to him, it was a perfect song choice and very good performance overall.

I kinda liked Matt's Human Nature, though his throat seemed to choke off on some of the high riffs. But the studio cut over in iTunes is beautiful. I've been listening to it all day. Highly recommended!
