Sales totals won't be released until Wednesday. What you are reading is that Kris's LLWD is the most played Idol song on the radio for the past week.

Just happened to catch Kris Allen as he opened for OneRepublic at Six Flags in San Antonio. Myself and my 11 year old daughter. I really enjoyed it, and thought he sounded great! He only played about 30 minutes though.... I was wanting more (didn't get to hear Red Guitar ) I guess he
played it during the warm up, but we weren't there that early. We didn't stay for One Republic as we had to meet up with the rest of the family in the park.

Kris has a show scheduled in LA as an opener for Lady Antebellum. They are so hot right now, it should be a great way to introduce his music to a whole new crowd.

That is one show I would love to see. Also Kris opening for Keith Urban. I love both of those two acts and Kris would be a definite added bonus.

It's great to see a young man giving of his time and using his talents and celebrity to help others. On the heels of his Platinum single, it would be easy to forget those in need, accept only larger and more visible venues, and promote his cd, but Kris stays true to who he is and keeps with his pre-Idol values by making a real difference in the world.

I've heard that Kris's next single released will be "The Truth," but it is not the one from the c.d., but rather a new version featuring Train's Pat Monahan. I prefer the original, but either way, it's about time they released a second single for him!

Hmm. Okay.

I'm just ... "Alright With Me" smells like hot sand and salt sea spray and barbecue it's so very, very summery. "The Truth" has a back-to-school feeling for me. It's also less identifiable and less catchy than AWM, and I don't think Pat Monahan adds much to it besides his name. But if it is the second single, fingers crossed, hoping for the best, exposure, yay.

Why is he the opening act on most of these venues?
Is that typically what happens to Idol winners when they go out on their own to tour?
Shouldn't he be the main act?
