If you're just discovering "Is Anybody Listening?" (Wow, you didn't know what you were missing!), you may not have listened yet to Adam's performance of "Come to Me, Bend to Me" from Brigadoon.

That one will absolutely slay you! It's audio only, with a slideshow of pictures of Adam. Look for it at the usual online place people go for videos...

I found 'Is Anybody Listening' to be 100 times better than 'Come to Me, Bend to Me'. Maybe it was because there was video to watch while he sang.. but then again i could close my eyes and lay back and be just as happy with him singing without a visual. Adam DOES have a very beautiful voice and he does not need the 'scream' but he does it well enough that it works. I am convinced this is the first person on this show to really be able to sing anything. I have (I hate to admit) gone to iTunes and dl'ed nearly all of Adam's songs..and the studio versions blow the live ones away.

I hope he lose the screaming in the finale. That turns off some voters.

That could be said for almost anyone. Even Norman Gentle with the right album & a $million worth of promotion could go through the stratosphere.

The bigger compliment came to Kris, because Jamie said he actually wanted to record with Kris. I can't blame him.

I think Adam will win.

I have been a Kris fan, and I would prefer Kris to win. But as a voter, I don't have the same impetus to vote for Kris tonight. All along I felt that if Kris, a talented musician and artist with very good taste, lost out to the King of Schmaltz, Danny Gokey, it would be a gross injustice. Not the same reasoning going into this one, as Adam, while he falls flat from time to time, has been worthy of an AI crown. If I'm right, Kris voters will not have the same rabid fingermashing mentality tonight, and Adam will win.

MJ's blog has the press conference that Adam did with Kris yesterday.

Allen dismissed the idea that his background as a Christian church singer would give him a boost. Winning “has to do with talent,” he said. “It’s not about religion or all that stuff.” Lambert said, “I’d hope people would vote based on what they hear. It's an equal opportunity situation."

Stupidest question came from a reporter who wanted to know if Adam thought he would have done as well in the competition if he had left his hair blond. After Adam tried to politely address this nonsense Kris leaned over and added that he probably wouldn't have done well as a blond either. Ah.. the joys of dealing with the press.
