i'll stick up for the group song -- i liked it.

i enjoy seeing who does well and who doesn't, who gets pimped and who gets one line....

tonight, michael johns had FAR more to do than anyone else. kristy lee barely had one note.

Maybe horrible is the wrong word. Unoriginal. Boring. Out of all the songs she could have picked she picked the worst Beatles song there was.

I'll buy that. She did kind of the Earth, Wind and Fire version, which I'm not fond of, as much as I like them. I had to go back and listen to some samples on iTunes to figure out if she was going the EW&F version, or the Blood, Sweat and Tears version.

Chris Sligh had a great article on EW today that explained the schedule from Thursday through Tuesday for the contestants. The only thing that wasn't included was when they practice the group sing. The lack of available time may very explain the quality of them....
