Syesha Mercado - Season 7

If she shouts her way through the song, she just falls into some dumb soul cliché.
She is better off, concentrating on the song itself, and bringing a solid performance to the stage.
Having enough attention to move on, might actually work better for her.

I think she might be going home tonight. Kristi and David A. did much worse, which ironically, is a problem for her. Their fans will be voting to keep them safe. Syesha was just forgettable (and she went first).

I guess she wasn't that forgettable after all.

To some, she is. I started out really liking Syesha. For some reason, her performances are lacking what she did have in the beginning. She almost sounds unsure of her abilities, because her voice will fade out. Her voice was much stronger in her first couple performances.

We'll see how she does next week.
She is likable, thats a start.
With her voice and talent, she deserves to be where she is at this time.

She has to stay away from any soul cliché, or voice runs and stuff, that would be the end.
A really good performance, connecting to the song, thats it.

I rather wait for a surprise from her, than to be bored by the pimped out front runners that we're "supposed to like".

i think she and ramiele are splitting votes. whoever does the best between them next week will move forward and the other will get the ax.

That could be.
I hope the two bring solid performances, or maybe even something that makes a difference in their game.


So many possibilities for train wrecks from the others.
Maybe there is another Hillbilly-Beatles nightmare coming up.
Or another beer bar cover version by Amanda.
