Oh I certainly think she did (and usually does) a good job, just that she's, just as Simon said, too predictable. She doesn't pick songs that offer any vocal challenge, imo.Originally Posted by angelic_one2002;2827086;

Yes..she needs to step up her song choices to compliment her voice and show what it's capable of. I agree.

Why in the world would they end the show with Screemesha, other than it was yet another opportunity for them to give her a pimp spot . Overrated, over pimped, & I hope over & out.
I wish Asia'h had stayed on over Syesha - Asia'h was way more interesting.
That said, I don't think Syesha will last long in the top 12, I see her leaving in 8th or 9th place.
2003-2008.
I think that both Syesha and Asia'h deserved to be in the top 12 and it's Amanda that should have never even made it to Hollywood in the first place. The fact that she's still there is a joke and an insult to those with actual talent.Originally Posted by Tickety;2830700;
Start packing! Off Key, party of one your table is ready.
This girl had better get interesting - and fast. Her days are numbered on this show.

How come so few are feeling the love here? Granted, last night there were better performances - but she kept the melody for the most part, and there were far worse performances as well (David H and Kristy, anyone?)
It's not that she can't sing. SHe can, and sings well. My problem is that she's too predictable. We always know what to expect from her and that has gotten old fast. As Simon said, she's playing it too safe. She doesn't strike me as someone whose album millions of people would run out and buy. There's nothing that sets her apart at all. Not edgy enough, imo. She's just kind of there, filler, if you will.Originally Posted by Phreddd;2836913;
