So, I guess the question for you is: Is she really a racist? I've seen so much written about this, but as far as I can tell it's because of her being photographed in front of a Confederate Flag. I'm not sure being in the same room as Confederate Flag qualifies as believing in what it stands for, but maybe there is more to this than I'm privy to?

I honestly don't know. I've never met her. I guess her dad came into my work and was talking to my mom about it.

And I know a couple of people who have the Confederate flag and aren't part of the KKK or anything. A friend of mine is a self proclaimed redneck and has a sticker of one on his truck, and as far as I know, he isn't a racist.

I really love that line! Reminds me of a book I read called The Phantom Tollbooth where the protagonist makes wild deductions and ends up catapulting through the air to end up on an island called Conclusions.

I think Yesterday as a Patsy Kline "esque" ballad might be a good choice. I think she was a victim of bad arrangement. It wasn't her vocals that was a trainwreck, it was the accompaniment (sp?) As far as the racist stuff, we really don't have any proof but she is from the south and to southerners the confederate flag is just a southern pride thing to some (SOME NOT ALL) and has nothing to do with racism.

Kristy is a really good singer and VERY VERY marketable! She definitely has a recording contract in her future. Although I'm a fan, I don't think she'll win (and probably shouldn't), but she's still very good.
