Jason Castro - Season 7

I just adore this guy so far. I loved his performance, and I'm glad the judges recognized it and gave him good marks. I like David A. and Michael also, their talent is obvious, but they've already gotten so much exposure, I'm glad to see that Jason is getting recognition too. Hopefully he'll go far.

Jason Castro, he may be the dark horse. I think he has a very chance of winning. He is good.

Yes, he has alot of charisma and I really enjoyed him. I think that those blue eyes are contacts! They look good but have the odd look when you put light ones over dark eyes. I kept saying that there was something weird with his eyes and I'm pretty sure this is it. It doesn't seem to fit with the dreads but (news flash) they may not be real either.

Well, I need to eat my own words. I checked out the web sites for both of his old bands and the eyes and hair are both there (years ago). So about those eyes....WOW! Someone said that he may be stepping out of his comfort zone but he seems pretty comfortable to me. After all he's already been in bands and on a TV show. I can't wait to see him perform this week.

Yea, I think he's just "got it" like Simon said. He's a natural.

His audition was definitely re-recorded. The shirt he is wearing when he is singing is different than the shirt he's wearing when he comes out to show everyone the ticket.

Must've been clearance issues.

Even with clearance problems, they should have had the video of his original audition. Shouldn't they?

Anyway, I hope that he does well.

They would have the video of the original audition, but if the song wasn't cleared, they wouldn't be able to air it.

I love this kid, but wasn't impressed with tonight's performance. Like Simon, I'd like to hear him sing without the guitar.

Out of all the guys Jason is by far my favorite. He's got something really unique about him and I could care less if he played his guitar for every performance. I just wish he didn't look so scared up there.

I like him too but he did not perform well tonight and he knew it. I felt bad for him especially after Simon's comments. I hope that he makes it through just because he adds a little spice to the show and I still haven't given up on him.
