Way too screechy for my liking. Didn't care for that hideous, hideous monstrosity of a dress, either.I hope she gets the boot.

i actually liked her performance. you can tell she's trying to have fun out there, the desperation is gone.
It's easy to be miserable. Being happy is tougher - and cooler.

And does that ever improve her!Originally Posted by blue valentine;2940872;
I was impressed -- that was the first time she seemed to be comfortable and having a good time. Song got away from her on the refrain, but her eyes were open and she wasn't exuding tension all over the place.

I thought she did a great job with the song. Finally showed she was having fun out there.
I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either
She did a fantastic job on the song, it reminded me of her first performance in the top 12 "Come Together." I think that she has the best overall performances (along with David Cook.) She manages to be entertaining whether she sings a slow song or a up-beat one. She definitely deserves a spot in the final three at the very least, maybe even the final two with David Cook.
Put me in a special school, 'Cause I am such a fool.

Carly was much better tonight, but still a bit too screamy....And again, she didn't seem to be connected to the song.
"Tons of surprises, but it wouldn't be 'American Idol' without it, would it?" Cowell told MTV News. "At the end of the day, I could go out and find 12 great singers, but that's kind of boring. The fact that there's people there who shouldn't be there makes it 'American Idol.' "
I loved her doing JCS...loved her look, her dress, her performance!I did 2 hours of voting for her again!
Reality is the beginning...not the end....Wallace Stevens
Wow... I am in awe of the country's "decisions" to send her home. Clearly the best singer on the show. I honestly think she was my favorite and am ashamed that America sent her home this week over clearly less talented singers especially after an amazing performance like JCS.
