Jordin Sparks - Season 6

I have given up watching IDOL. After seeing Jordan get a huge break that none of the other contestants got, by staying another week after she was the low vote count.

As far as Blake vs Jordan. Jordan can sing well, but her voice is very generic and lacks character where as Blake has a lot of character in his voice and is so multi-dimensional and he can dance and act too.

Jordin was never in the bottom 2. She was told she was safe last because Ryan wanted to shock people into believing she was going home. That's why he said it was the most shocking elimination ever. At that point in the competition, it would have only been shocking if Melinda or Jordin were eliminated. And since the judges praised Jordin the night before, with Randy even calling it the best ever on any idol season, it would have been most shocking if Jordin went home.

I forgot which thread but someone had made a comment about Jordin not looking as tall in the pics...well as you can see in this one, she's barefoot!

They do photograph well together! So cute. I don't know which I'd much rather see, but this is definitely the finale I hoped for.

I fully expect she'll be crowned Wednesday night.

So I want to extend my congratulations to her and to her fans. She's not my cup of tea (though she was my third favorite) but she did a good job.

YEAH Jordin! Excellent job last night. Her last song, cheesy as it was, moved me to tears. I picked Jordin for the final a long time ago, I think when they got to the final 12. So yeah for me too! AND today is the last day of school!!
