I thought Jordin was the best of the night. Her performance brought tears to my eyes. She is absolutely amazing.

I can only please one person a day, today is not your day and tomorrow doesn't look good either
i think people are over exagerating the performance. it wasn't her best nor was it the best of the night. it was good not excellent
I don't think it was her best performance (my fave is still "I who have nothing") but IMO, her and Melinda tied for best of the night!Originally Posted by jacobson00;2349907;

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Wouldn't it be a shame if we all liked the same thing? If that were the case we would only have vanilla ice cream and that would be terrible.Originally Posted by jacobson00;2349907;

Jordin was ok if you like that style. She's just ok imo. She's probably gonna win, and so be it. I won't be rushing out to buy her CD. I've heard her style too many times before. Just nothing different there. She's just a "so what" imo.![]()
when she sang the word "toss" she even toss her hand...and make it tossy enough...
i got goosebump cancer just listening to her performace....
the last note was a little screechy but still works for me...
"I Who Have Nothing" is my favorite from her but last night she may have stubbed her toe at first base and slipped a little rounding second but it was all done while she was taking her home run trot. In other words it still was a great performance.

I think overall her performance was a good one--it was filled with lots of emotion, but she has developed (or I'm just noticing it) a breathy style of singing. I couldn't get past her noisy breathing last night with every breath she took. It really detracted from the song. She does has some pitch and control problems she needs to work on, but that is something that will come with time and voice maturity.![]()
