After hearing him last night, I definitely think he's better suited for Nashville Star. I don't think the twang will carry him to victory, but I think he's safe for another week or two.

My question is this. If Josh has decided he's "country" and Simon has said he thinks Josh should stay true to that "country" sound, what's he going to sing for Disco Night? Disco Duck?

LOL, Eden! I was thinking the same thing last night! Next week's "disco" theme (if that is indeed the theme next week) could end up being Josh's undoing.

I really like his voice...and I've been pleasantly surprised with him in the competition so far. I thought that he wouldn't be able to survive with his country style but so far, so good. But we'll see when we get to disco...Lol...

Here's the problem I have with Josh... he made it through the auditions with pop music, won his initial semi-final round with pop music, and NOW wants to switch to country?

I thought it sounded great for a country version, but I just don't like the way he's gone about doing it. I think he'll finish 5th or 6th.
