He sounded pretty good and he has the flag waving thing going for him....sounds like he will make it. I do like him but I REALLY wanted Patrick to go to the finals. And apparently it is one guy and one girl each week. If we could have two guys then yeah I would root for him.

I like his voice, his marine-y-ness sort of annoys me though, I guess it's just because I don't believe in dying for your country.... And he was hard to watch singing, he kind of looked like he was in pain.

His "marineyness" is what attracts me to him. However, his voice isn't really my favorite. He does look like he's in pain at times when he performs, but he still has that all American appeal about him. I completely respect him.

It is the top two each week, regardless of gender. It's just that each week so far, the top two have been one guy and one girl. I think it'll be different this week, as I look for Joshua and Corey to advance to the finals.

I agree, I really liked Josh tonight (as I have in the past.)
