I went to the AI Tour Contest the season Taylor won and all the love was for Daughtry. People actually were leaving after Chris performed.

I liked Taylor for voice some ... but largely for personality. Glad to hear things are picking up some for him.

The AI appearance must have been good for Taylor - I just saw on Bing that "Taylor Hicks" is #2 for top Trending Biggest Movers.

Go Taylor!! He was the most poorly treated AI winner ever for the sole reason that he beat Daughtry (and that Simon hated him) . Whatever. I don't begrudge goatboy his success but AI should have worked a little harder to promote their winner that year. S5 had such a good crop of talent in the top tier that year.
