I think if contestants were allowed to use instruments Bo would have played guitar, harmonica or piano up there. I know on Rockstar INXS they were allowed to play instruments.

Taylor could sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and it would make me happy. Because I know somehow that he could make even a song like that interesting. Blown away by this one.

Tha said, what I would love to hear him sing is "People Get Ready." The version of the song with which I am most familiar was done by Rod Stewart in the 80's, and I love the words and the style of it. And I think Taylor could move people with a song like that.

I'm not absolutely certain, but I'm pretty sure that you're wrong. Josh Gracin rehearsed with a guitar during the Hollywood stage of the competition in the second season, and a few of them had instruments during a group song, last season, but none of them have been allowed to accompany themselves during the actual competition.

Good one. I'd also like to hear him sing Drift Away by Dobie Gray. He has such a bluesy quality to his voice I think he'd sound wonderful.

I seem to remember Drift Away being done by George Huff & Bo Bice, if I'm not mistaken. Taylor would no doubt do it justice, but it is time to plow a new field. How about Bob Seger's Night Moves?

I don't mind re-treads if they do the song well and add their own flavor to it. He could probably do Bob Seger, Turn the Page is a good one.

How about the "B" Side of Drift Away - Lovin' Arms? Not sure if that is the title - the Dixie Chicks did it a couple of years ago. I love that song!

I thought Taylor would be the last person to make a bad song choice, but he did. Luckily he has enough charisma to pull off even as dull song as "Easy". But still, this definitely wasn't his best, not even close.
