It looks like the second half of the Blown Away Tour is going to be pretty much sold out. And yet, the ACM folks decided not to even nominate her for Entertainer Of The Year. They are instead sticking with their preferred new power couple Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton....Miranda Lambert who has to resort to a co - headline tour with Dierks Bentley, a tour that isn't even coming close to selling out. And in another ACM slight, Blown Away, the Grammy winning song, was not even nominated by the ACM voters. It is a mystery to me, & in fact to many of the Country music websites now, why Carrie keeps getting these snubs. It is becoming somewhat an embarrasment.

Razorback - It doesn't really make sense with the tour doing so well and not being nominated for Entertainer of the Year. I love Carrie, but for some reason
the actual "Blown Away" song just doesn't do anything for me, but it has done well on the charts and she did win a Grammy for it. I do like the CD, just
not that song in particular. Although I would like to figure out which one of my kids has took and has since misplaced that CD for me .

Oh, am I am over the Miranda/Blake love too.

I just found out that AXS Channel will be televising The Blown Away show live on Sunday March 3rd. If you get that channel tune it & be prepared to be Blown Away, Live for Ontarion California.

Today is Carrie's 30th birthday. Or as she said in an interview last week, she isn't turning 30, she is celebrating the first anniversary of her 29th birthday. Regardless, Happy Birthday er um Anniversary, Carrie!

Two Black Cadillacs hit the #1 spot on the Country charts this morning, while Carrie is in London for her headlining gig at the big Country expo tonight. Evidently her record label let her know, because she has sent out tweets of thanks to fans, dj's & label promo staff for their support.

Last week on Idol we saw Jessica Sanchez & NeYo perform their new single. In perhaps one of the most unexpected collaborations, Carrie has also written with NeYo. The song is called Walk Away. Megan Hilty has recorded it for her new album. Check it out, it's pretty nice.

Since we are upgrading our DVR, I am going to lose alot of my old recordings . The one I was most sad about was
Carrie's performance (as well as others) on the ACM Girls' Night Out: Superstar Women of Country that was on two years ago.
However, my husband did some research and found it will be on again this weekend. So if anyone missed Carrie and Vince Gill sing "How Great Thou Art", you can tune in over the weekend, it's on twice!

One of Carrie's more confusing moments had to have happened to her a few nights ago in Canada. While performing for a sold out show someone threw a bra on stage. Pretty funny if it was Tom Jones or someone, but a head scartcher for Carrie I'm sure!?
