Carrie just won the Grammy for Best Collaboration for the duet with Randy Travis on I Told You So...but she lost Female Vocalist to Taylor Swift. Congrats to Carrie & Randy. She said she really hoped to win this one for Randy.

Carrie Underwood Will Perform at the Hollywood Bowl on Oct. 2
Carrie Underwood will make her first concert appearance at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on Oct. 2. Her performance will feature the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra. Tickets go on sale on Feb. 14. As previously announced, Underwood will sing the national anthem prior to Super Bowl XLIV in Miami on Sunday (Feb. 7). She will launch the first leg of her 2010 Play On tour on March 11 in Reading, Pa.

Carrie Underwood To Play Youth Leader In First Film Role

ARISTA/NASHVILLE star CARRIE UNDERWOOD has landed a supporting role in her first studio movie "Soul Surfer." The film is based on the autobiography of 19-year-old champion surfer BETHANY HAMILTON, who, for over six years, has defied all odds to compete and win professional championships after losing her arm in a shark attack at age thirteen. UNDERWOOD will play SARAH HILL, a church youth leader.
Filming is to take place in FEBRUARY and the movie will also star HELEN HUNT, DENNIS QUAID and ANNA SOPHIA ROBB.
In other CARRIE news, she scored the number one video on iTUNES TODAY (2/4) for "Temporary Home." iTUNES debuted the video TUESDAY (2/2) with a two-day exclusive, and “Temporary Home” will hit the broadcast airwaves when it makes its television debut TODAY (02/04) in "Hot Shot" rotation on CMT and in "Turbo" rotation on GAC.
CARRIE will also be on the cover of the MARCH issue of COSMOPOLITAN, and on the ALLURE cover feature hitting stands for their APRIL issue.
She will sing the NATIONAL ANTHEM at SUPER BOWL XLIV as part of the pre-game festivities on FEBRUARY 7th (NET NEWS 1/28). Then CARRIE will make her first appearance at the HOLLYWOOD BOWL on OCTOBER 2nd, with a concert performance involving the HOLLYWOOD BOWL ORCHESTRA. Tickets for the performance go on sale FEBRUARY 14th.

I thought she sang well, particularly following Latifah who I thought was dreadful, but ugh, that white outfit was very tacky, imo.
I wouldn't say it was flawless as one critic said, but she did sing well. I agree with fluff about the white jumpsuit outfit, however. And...those killer high heels would have been better suited for the after party, not the football field.
