Agreed. However, with all the controversy this year, the ratings are still soaring & the number of voters seems to increase each week. With that, I doubt they change anything.
((If it were up to me, I'd eliminate the ability to vote via text messaging, that method of voting is too easy for teens to abuse, & start charging, oh, say, $2-$3.99 for each landline vote to weed out multiple voting.))

I think the show is fine.....people just need to lighten up and lay the racism charges to rest and just accept it when their favorite is voted off. That's just what happens when multiple voting is aloud. And everyone does have the option to vote for the entire 2 hours if they choose. So it's fair. These upsets are what makes the show interesting....it wouldn't be the same without them.

I don't know too much about this, but wouldn't a minimum age of 18 eliminate potential concerns about child labor laws? From what I understand, movie/TV/theater producers would rather have a young-looking 18 year old play the part of a 15 year old (instead of a 15 or 16 year old) because an 18 year old does not have to comply with some of the laws (ie about tutoring/schooling, limits on number of hours he/she can work) that a younger person would-- would a younger music artist or even younger AI contestants be subject to this as well?
