I really enjoyed her performance and I love her personality. It's not too "diva-ish" and it's not too over the top. She's someone I remember. I've remembered her ever since the audition. I hope she makes it tonight.

I liked Fantasia, but I didn't think she was as "great" as the judges made her out to be. Not even close to that good. Definitely worthy of moving on though, and I think she will (although the theory that people assume she will get votes and vote for someone else is plausible).

I voted the entire 2 hours last night! Unable to get thru at all the 1st 30 mins. I was able to get thru 12 times- her line was very busy-lol (a very good sign!) I really hope she makes it thru tonight!! *Fingers crossed* She's so wonderful to watch & that voice-Wow!! My local news channel is calling her "Fantastic Fantasia" lol & that she is! Gooooooo girl- we love you here back home!!

I also thought it sounded like she was "doing a voice" during parts of her performance. I don't know how to describe it any better than that...

Having my child.

And it is interesting that she is a mom. She definately does not need any sympathy votes - she has the talent, charisma and uniqueness to take her to the star circles - but her having a baby explains why she hasn't had a chance to make it yet.

She sang Bonnie Raitt's "Something To Talk About".

Although the scenario of her not getting through because people will think she's gonna get a lot of votes and will end up voting for someone else is plausible, I don't look for that to happen. I think Fantasia is pretty much a lock for one of the two spots.

But, that's just me...

She is a great singer and performer, but I don't wonna see her win this, because I think she's a bit too "old-fashioned". Maybe, she should go on Broadway instead.
