Who's your favorite judge?

Each year its changed for me -
1st series Simon made it what it is,
last year I had the same favourites and same thoughts and views on contestants as Randy, but this year he has tried to be too cool.
This year, as much as I hate to say it, Paula is the one who I find myself agreeing with, so this year - its her!

I'm not sure if I ever replied to this one, but Randy is my favorite judge. Paula is so sugar-coated that she compliments the contestants no matter what they do, and is way too kind to the male contestants. I think that Simon just tries to be mean and nasty, and insults people just for the fun of it, sometimes. His illustrations are just so wacky at times that they don't even make sense.

The reason I like Randy is that he's nice without being too nice, like Paula. He gives his honest opinion, and can give people criticism without being overly harsh, like Simon. I find myself agreeing with him more often than the other judges. This season, however, he seems to be saying the same things. "Pitchy" and "aiight" (not to mention "dawg") have been said way too often by him.

Meanwhile, our condolences to Ryan Seacrest -- he lost out big-time to ''Survivor'''s Jeff Probst as favorite reality-TV host (Probst got 43 percent, while Seacrest got 25 percent). In other words: Seacrest... out.

Who's your favorite judge? The one you wouldn't watch the show without, or whos opinion you respect the most?

American idol wouldn't be American Idol without Simon (that's not to say I like him though, cause I don't). Randy tries too hard to be cool and should be replaced with someone who *is* cool and doesn't need to try. Paula is too "goody goody".
