Sass. She is drop dead gorgeous and is a very sweet person.

Be yourself and don't hold back. Give it all you have.

What does it mean to you to get another chance at Canadian Idol through the Wildcard Show?
When you think a dream is over and BAM! you get another shot, it means the world.

What did you first think when you were asked to be on the Wildcard Show?
I thought it was a mean joke, then I recognized the voice. I ran in the house and could barely talk to the family. It was unbelievable.

Just to fill people in, in case you guys don't remember, (and how can you not), he's the guy in Halifax, that had a cold, and pulled through the audition, and cried. Then made it to the top 90 i think it was and was still sick and was cut.

Kevin will be our 'Carmen' of the show, not singing wise, but being called back for wildcard, and not making the top 30.

Kevin's really awesome. Even if he doesn't become a big star through this show I'm pretty sure he'll be able to make money doing something with the music industry.

If the song selection is strong, I bet Kevin will be one of the standout performers in the WC along with Toya and Andrew. And you never know. He just might have the fanbase to get him to the next round. Afterall, it was his fans sending messages to the producers of the show that got him here.

Not feelin his performance tonight, dawg. He sounded/looked nervous. Wanted him to show more range in his voice. Kind of dragged and looked bored. (Thank god for Zach for pointing that out) I heard he does a killer rendition of Words by the BeeGees. That would've been the perfect song for him to sing because it has range, emotion, etc. Maybe he got a little too conservative with the song choice.

He still has an outside chance of making it because of his fanbase.

I think it was pretty classy of them to give him another shot though considering he was ill for the earlier rounds.

Hmmm... I think it's just good ol' Canadian "niceness" that Kevin was asked back to be a Wildcard. To be honest, I think Kevin's wild card spot was wasted. I saw his auditions on TV and not once did Kevin prove himself to be a good singer.

Yes, he was sick, but I didn't think his singing was good enough for the judges to look past that. Wild cards are all about giving people a second chance. Kudos to Kevin for getting a spot, but I really don't think he earned it. What about that guy that the judges really liked but he screwed up the lyrics to "If You Could Read My Mind"? Didn't he deserve a second chance? I'm sure there were other great, dynamic singers that would have more than dazzled the judges.

Was it because Kevin didn't fit the typical "look" for a popstar and they wanted to stir things up IN CASE he was a good singer? I think that was a bad decision on the judges' part, and it just came back to haunt them. He was dull, boring, and just wasn't a good enough singer for the calibre of the show. I'm sure he's fine for small stages or whatever venue he's sung in before, but he's way out of his element here.

The judges did say that Kevin didn't have the benefit of being on that stage before. True, but the other wild cards were in that same situation once and they HAD something about them the first time that merited a wild card spot. Kevin was just let in because the judeges felt sorry for him.

So, based on the judges' track record, as long as I have a cold, laryngitis, scarlet fever and a body cast, then that'll insure that I'll make it through to the next round! It's so simple! Why didn't anyone think of it before?! They'll be crowning the Canadian Idol from a hospital emergency room!
