I don' t know who it's harder on, the viewers or contestants when 5 of the kids don't make it through.

the contestants.....they make friends on there and when they go is really hard.Its also really hard for the kids who were on there that left, cuz they worked and worked to try to be good...i dont know thats just my opinion

I cried when Josh left of American Idol, but to me, this is just American Juniors- it's not as big of a deal, personally, to me. Plus, I really didn't have enough time to "grow" onto one of the contestants, for AJ was only like 8 episodes long.

But, I agree, it is sad for those who didn't make it, but all these kids are truly talented.

I personally think it's just as bad seeing all of them wait for the last name to be called. Lauren Klena was in tears, that's just not the way FOX should be doing things. In the episode where the first 10 finalists got the results, it was horrible seeing the looks on Kara and Tyler's faces, and espicially horrible to see Julia's, Kristinia's, and Grace's, because at least 2 of them were probably very close to making it.
Oh, and I didn't see the end of the second results show, so I can't comment

I still don't like the lousy way they are using these kids, but maybe it's not as hard on them as it looks.

From an interview with Deborah Gibson:

"I'm actually staying at the same hotel as the kids and I've already seen them like three times since that moment of tears and they've already bounced back," Gibson said. "They're already saying, 'Oh well, I guess I'll go audition for 'Star Search' then.'"
