I beg to differ. Whitney is most definitely NOT smaller than Sarah cycle 9. You can see Whitney's a plus from the outset, in the preshow pics. You couldn't with Sarah. Whitney knows she's a plus size. Sarah didn't even realise and neither did the judges.

This comparison between the two irks me a little because there isn't grounds for one. and for once I agree with the judges that Sarah H was nothing like a plus size.

A great design will look fab on a plus-size. See, that's my problem with stretch jean fabric. Just a way to cover bad design. I won't buy stretch denim. Which means it took me looking at at least 8 or so stores before finding a 100 percent cotton jean in a size 2. (I didn't go online and spend $100 or more because I can't afford it and need to try on clothes before buying).

No need to "downgrade" a design. A good designer can make something sing at whatever size. I've seen some gorgeous work in larger sizes and some c@#$ work in zero and 2.

In the fashion world tall and skinny is better because that is what the fashion world has been. "We've always done it that way" does not mean it can't be done or it is better that way.

BTW, I'm small even when I'm heavy. I'm a size 2 right now and can't wait to get back to my natural zero. So I'm not jealous of smaller sizes or feel like I'm not reprensented.

Except for the tall part. I admit it. I want some of those long legs.

I think Whitney is a size 10, right. I think she's actually bigger than Sarah. And she hasn't lost any weight. Some plus-agencies accept size 10 models, I think.


In other news, The TV guide article I was talking about has been posted at TWOP. But I have to stress to you all that TV guide is not the same as Us or People, which the original poster said the article was from. The guy who posted that he saw only Fat and Anya's name on Miss J's jacket never confirmed that the article posted was the one that he saw.

I don't know if this has been posted yet but Whitney is in this months Seventeen magazine. The poster over at the Livejournal Top model community said it was for her challenge win in episode 7, but it was a "team" win so I guess it confirms she wins. .. I'm happy a plus size wins and I really think Whitney isn't a bitch, maybe just caddy sometimes. And she really has a sweet side to her!!! But I do wish Anya would of won ... I'm gonna cry my eyes out when she does her exit interview

You guys remember the spoilers a long time ago with Katarzyna and Anya final 2 and Whitney was gone like sixth?

I remember saying "Wow thats a really strong final 2 that runway show is going to be so worth watching, huge step up from last cycle"

Now we're bordering on Fatima/Whitney Final 2, why can't Tyra ever fall in love with the RIGHT model?

I think Anya's strength lies in the straight modeling. I really do. Or even modeling/acting. I don't see commercials.

But I do understand why she has such a huge fan base. But I have the feeling that she can handle a loss better than some. I just see her being sad, picking herself up, being happy for the winner and then going on and modeling.

Anya already has post show work so if she really lost then she got over it really fast, which is positive for her career. Her drive is one of the things I love about Anya.

it's possible for anya to leave during the final three, the same thing happened to renee. natasha had been in the bottom two twice before that, and renee had given a strong performance in australia as well. arguably the strongest. so you never really know or speculate whether a girl who has never been in the bottom two is automatically in the final two girls.

I honestly think the girls who have some talent and drive will work, regardless of being on ANTM or not. If anything, they will learn how to fake it when dealing with people they don't like.
