Robin did start out strong so she would have probably outlasted an additional four girls, who didn't make the cut and was therefore not seen as strong as Robin. She still placed fourth out of all the girls that auditioned for the show, whereas other plus-sized models placed lower. It is hard comparing since the playing field wasn't the same, but the fact is that Robin did make it overseas, making Whitney the second plus-sized model to do so.

I was really put off by what she said on the red carpet when asked why she should win ANTM.

She said "most girls in America eat regularly", and they were the girls she was representing. It was practically implying that the skinny models don't eat healthily and are representing girls who starve themselves, or something.

And, I just HAVE to say, she looked AWFUL in her Jay Godfrey gown...

Well, most skinny models DON'T eat well. Yes, there are naturally skinny girls like Fatima or Jaslene but those are exceptions.

Plus, she needs to be cocky and confident. When you're trying to prove you can break stereotypes, you can't be quiet and display a shy attitude. Remember, plus sized models need to work harder.

I still like Whintey, she just needs to lose the Miss America thing she has going on.

Whitney is such a stuck up & condescending snob.

She's not nearly as good as she thinks she is. She needs to tape her mouth shut for two reasons: She's never had a closed mouth picture, and she talks too much!

BustaK, confidence is okay, but cockiness isn't something a model needs. Especially when Whitney think she's so good that she can insult the other girls. She gossips about everyone so much, it kills me.

That's where I digress, immensely. She needs to be confident. Granted. But no one needs to be cocky. And Whitney is so ear-grating. It's unbelievable. She looks down on everyone, continues to go ON and ON about how HARD it is for her being a plus size model yet she does nothing to keep herself up but being an obnoxious hating b*tch.
I love how everyone was calling Fatima a b*tch back then just because she said things like they were. How Amis was acting like a clown or Whitney was a manipulative b*tch, but when Whitney talks down on EVERYONE (the Anya is too blonde comment, I mean what?)... she's being 'Confident'.

Whitney just needs to shut up and realize she's not the hottest thing on the block. Her pictures have not been that good and I'm starting to wonder if she's capable of closing her mouth.

The fact that she gets so many confessionals bothers me. Her voice is just annoying. It just screams "I"m a bitchy snob."

I find Fatima to be as much of a snob as Whitney.

As for the Anya is dumb comment, a bunch of people have said that on her thread before getting to know her. Obviously Anya comes off as an airhead and unless you got to know her, you wouldn't know how smart she is.

And of course, Whitney is defensive. There are still many plus-size barriers. If you were in an industry where you are told you don't fit in and that every skinny girl is better than you, I bet you'd be defensive too.

People need to stop being so sensitive to wards the comments contestants make. People go on a on about how Tyra and the gang shouldn't judge the models on their personality but that's all people on this board do. If you're no sweet and innocent, posters tend to dislike said model despite their ambition, drive and talent.

As for her talking too much, that's all with editing. I mean, Kat never gets any airtime, does that mean she never talks?
